"Door-to-door"
delivery: All
pre-built wall panels are labeled and numbered for easy inspection.
Doors, windows, siding, roofing and other materials are
also clearly identified.
Packing:
Weather-proof wrapping of pre-built panels as well as individual pallets
provides easy labeling and identification of
contents. Windows, doors and roofing are crated
for added protection. Entire shipment is then protected
during transport.
Inspecting
Your Shipment:
Your shipment is inspected twice, and then totally re-inspected, to
make sure everything is included. And each shipment
comes with a complete, line-item, detailed record of
everything contained in your shipment.
Labeled
Contents: Pre-built wall panels... and individual
lifts, crates and pallets... have clearly visible labels
with
detailed, itemized shipping documents. Labels make it
easy to double-check the materials received... and
labels make it easy for builders to locate the materials
they need for your home.
Shipping Schedule: A pre-arranged delivery date
assures prompt customer service and allows for scheduling of required off-loading equipment
at destination.
Notification:
Direct contact during transport keeps you informed
with up-to-the-minute scheduling and delivery
information.
Off-loading
Equipment: Suggest minimum
forklift with 4,000 lbs. capacity for transport on
relatively smooth and flat surfaces. "SkyTrak" or other
type of 4WD reach-boom equipment is recommended for
transport over uneven or off-road surfaces where
the building site may be some distance from
the off-loading location.
Your Personal Delivery Inspection:
Immediately upon receiving delivery, and before proceeding
with construction, it will be your responsibility to
thoroughly double-check the itemized packing list so as to locate,
identify and familiarize yourself with the wall panels, detailed
"panelized" drawings, and the various crates, pallets, boxes and
“lifts” of materials received which you have paid for
prior to delivery.
Failure to immediately report errors or
omissions in writing will absolve Cabin Kit Homes of any
responsibility for missing materials and/or the construction of your
home or cabin.
